If only one new HUMMER was enough to change the world, what’ll happen when we include a HUMMER EV SUV to the group? Returning from an extended absence, the new HUMMER EV Supertruck enchanted both EV enthusiasts and hardcore off-roaders. The forthcoming 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will add to that buzz with a modern interpretation of the seminal off-roader from the past. While all of the specifications haven’t been disclosed yet, this is what we believe the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will be.
It looks like the HUMMER EV SUV will be mechanically identical to the Supertruck. It’s anticipated to be configured in either 2 motor or 3 motor configurations with the power ranging anywhere from 625 horsepower all the way up to 1000hp. The effective range of the HUMMER SUV should be similar to the Supertruck. The upgraded fast-charging system will most likely also be available for purchase, meaning it should be able to pick up 100 miles of range by charging for 10 minutes.
By looking at the design it seems that the HUMMER EV SUV will mirror many of the Supertruck options, albeit with a hardtop rather than a pickup bed. We expect that you’ll find many of the same features such as 35in tires, LED lighting, and the Infinity roof seen on the Supertruck. Understanding the demands of families, we suspect that a 3-row version may also be part of the future of the HUMMER EV SUV.
We believe that the 2022 HUMMER EV SUV will get the same state-of-the-art technology shown on the Supertruck. That means you will probably be able to find a similar version of the all-new Ultravision system, along with Drive Mode Control, Watts to Freedom, Super Cruise, and the 13.4in touchscreen infotainment system.
